Documentation

Installation

To install SEO Title, start by extracting the contents of the SEO_Title .zip file.  Copy the "seo_title" file (and all of its contents) to the "/system/mojomotor/third_party" directory.

Once the SEO Title core files have been uploaded to your third party directory, log in to your MojoMotor Control Panel and insert the {mojo:seo_title:init} tag within any one of your MojoMotor template files.  To keep your html tidy, we typically suggest including this tag right above the </body> tag your footer template file.

The next step is to run the SEO Title Installer.  While logged in to your MojoMotor Control Panel, point your browser to /admin/addons/seo_title/install and press enter.

         Your url should look similar to the following:  http://www.mysite.com/index.php/admin/addons/seo_title/install

The installation scripts of SEO Title will run, and once completed, you will be redirected to a confirmation page.  You are now all set to go and can begin creating custom titles for your MojoMotor Pages!

Getting Started

Creating Custom Titles

Click on the SEO Title icon in your MojoMotor Control Panel.  When SEO Title opens, you should see a list of each page you currently have on your site.  To create a custom title, locate the page it in the list, and click the 'Edit Custom Title' link.

A new page should open where you can enter your custom title. Simply enter the title you would like to use for the page and click 'Save Changes.'  SEO Title will take care of the rest!

Template Tags

SEO Title has 2 template tags:

Init Tag:

{mojo:seo_title:init}

This tag initializes the add-on and creates the Icon/User Interface in the MojoMotor Control Panel.  The tage must be present somewhere within your layout files in order for you to add and edit your custom page titles.

{mojo:seo_title:title}
